Our General Approach towards Research
Construction engineering and management research topics are continually being explored to meet the evolving industry needs. The goal of this continuous exploration is to find new ways to improve the construction process and make construction sites safer.
A key focus of our research at SIIR-Lab is the integration of automation and advanced technologies to enhance construction safety. With the rise of AI-driven monitoring systems and autonomous equipment, we aim to reduce human exposure to hazardous environments while improving efficiency and productivity on job sites. The use of wearable technology, real-time data analytics, and sensor-based automation is transforming traditional construction practices, allowing for proactive hazard detection and predictive safety measures.
The research topics investigated to date by the SIIR-Lab are intended to meet these goals. However, there are many more innovative ideas out there, and we value your input. If you have a research idea that aligns with our mission, we welcome collaborations and discussions to further explore the future of safe, automated construction.
